About Animal Alliance

Ellen Lavinthal and Deborah Corday are the spokespersons for a charity that is very near and dear to their hearts. Both women are longtime animal activists. Lavinthal, The President and Founder of Animal Alliance, after graduating Phi Beta Kappa, studied law at the University of Southern California. Ellen became active in several charitable organizations including Alzheimer's Foundation and The Avon Breast Cancer Research Fund. Her driving passion is rescuing cats and dogs from dire circumstances, and helping them find homes that will give them the love and comfort they deserve. Deborah Corday is the Executive Director of Animal Alliance. The Los Angeles native has hosted her own fitness and entertainment shows, and like her friend Lavinthal has been involved with animals for many years, as a pet owner and activist. Animal Alliance has a veterinarian who helps them take care of the cats that reside at their rescue facility, where the felines are free to roam the grounds. "Our animals are not kept in cages."
